A London law firm began to appear on page 1 of google for their most important keywords in just three weeks post-launch
A leading housing disrepair law firm in London, famed for its involvement in The Grenfell Tower Inquiry, struggled to achieve results in search engine results pages (SERPs). Their core service page for housing disrepair claims was not appearing on Google search results when someone searched, “housing disrepair claims London.”
This particular law firm required a new website to act as the foundation of an integrated marketing strategy, inclusive of expert SEO for law firms.
The SEO Results
Within a couple of days after launching the new website, the housing disrepair page appeared on page 2 of Google when a user searched for “housing disrepair claims London” or “housing disrepair London“. In addition, a blog post on the topic of the housing disrepair claims process appeared right next to it. Google is intuitive and recognises when there is supporting content from the same source and it often pairs the content in SERPs.
Approximately 3 weeks following the date of the launch, the housing disrepair page and supporting blog post moved to page 1 of Google for the first time ever.
Approximately 5 weeks following launch, the blog post became the top result on page 1.
I am particularly proud of this result given how quickly it was achieved despite the firm practising in London, one of Europe’s most competitive environments for law firms. According to Ahrefs, a respected SEO SaaS company, only 0.3% of pages rank in the Top10 for a high-volume keyword in less than a year.
Organic Search Impressions
This law firm also benefited from a huge 367% spike in organic web impressions as indicated by Google Search Console.
SEO success requires consistent and ongoing tweaks to maintain steady growth, or even to maintain current positions. To abruptly stop would lead to falling back down the rankings. The process is a free-for-all and all law firms are competing for the top spots.
